Skin & Soft Tissue

Athlete's Foot

A fungal skin infection that commonly causes itching, peeling, redness, or cracking between the toes or on the soles.

Skin & Soft Tissue

Calluses

Thickened areas of skin caused by repeated friction, pressure, or abnormal weight distribution on the foot.

Diabetic Foot

Charcot Foot

A serious diabetic foot complication where bones and joints weaken, collapse, or deform due to nerve damage.

Skin & Soft Tissue

Corns

Small, concentrated areas of hard skin that usually develop over pressure points, commonly on toes or bony areas.

Diabetic Foot

Diabetic Foot Ulcer

An open wound or sore that may develop in people with diabetes, often related to poor circulation, pressure, and nerve damage.

Foot Deformity

Flat Feet

A foot type where the arch is low or collapsed, which may contribute to foot fatigue, arch pain, ankle pain, or alignment issues.

Nail Condition

Fungal Nail Infection

A nail infection that can cause thickened, brittle, yellow, white, or discolored toenails.

Arthritis & Rheumatology

Gout

A painful inflammatory joint condition caused by uric acid crystal buildup, often affecting the big toe joint.

Foot Deformity

Hammertoe

A toe deformity where the toe bends abnormally at the middle joint, often causing pressure, corns, and shoe irritation.

Musculoskeletal

Hammertoe: Cross Over Toe

A toe deformity where the toe(s) cross over an adjacent toe. A result of ligament damage and instability of the small toe joints.

Bone Condition

Heel Spurs

A bony growth that may develop on the heel bone (back or bottom), sometimes associated with chronic heel pain or plantar fascia strain.

Nerve Condition

Peripheral Neuropathy

Nerve damage that can cause numbness, burning, tingling, weakness, or loss of sensation in the feet.

Musculoskeletal

Peroneal Tendonitis

Inflammation of the tendons that are responsible for stabilizing the foot during gait and for pointing the foot to the side.

Musculoskeletal

Plantar Fasciitis

A common cause of heel pain caused by irritation of the plantar fascia, often worse with first steps in the morning.

Musculoskeletal

Plantar Plate

The ligament on the bottom of the foot that connects the metatarsal and toe. Important for holding the toe in a straigth position

Skin & Soft Tissue

Plantar Warts

Warts on the bottom of the foot caused by a virus, often painful when walking or standing.

Vascular

Peripheral Arterial Disease

Reduced blood flow to the legs or feet, which may cause pain, slow healing, cold feet, or increased wound risk.

Musculoskeletal
