SCGS: Achilles and Heel Sleeve
SCGS: Achilles and Heel Sleeve
• Achilles and heel sleeves are typically made from soft, breathable, and stretchable materials like neoprene or elastic fabric. The material should be durable and comfortable to wear for extended periods.
• The sleeve is designed to cover the back of the foot, including the Achilles tendon and the heel. It usually extends from just above the ankle to just below the heel, providing comprehensive coverage to the affected area.
• Many Achilles and heel sleeves have an integrated gel or foam pad that sits directly over the Achilles tendon. This pad provides targeted cushioning and support to the area, helping to reduce pressure and strain on the tendon during movement.
